Battle thrones is an MMORTS work-in-progress I am creating with Unity3D and SmartFox Server. Players will each receive one outpost in the starting area which is safe from attack, and are tasked with conquering the resource-rich neutral tiles in the center. Choose your throne from either the Human Clan or the Orc Clan and begin building your empire in the name of your faction! Whether your goal is to control and manage a massive resource-gathering infrastructure in the quest for wealth, or you prefer to do battle on the front-lines and raze your enemy outposts, Battle Thrones has a place for you. Meet new friends, create alliances, and coordinate epic blitzkrieg battles to stomp the opposing faction into the ground. Trade resources with other players and even help fortify their outposts when battle is imminent. Battle Thrones is currently in Pre-Alpha stages of development. As a solo developer, I have opted to provide Battle Thrones free-to-play to the public during this stage.
This video depicts a complete rework of some major gameplay elements, giving Battle Thrones a much more 90's-RTS feel.
