Battle of Tau Ceti is a team-based multiplayer space combat game. Pilot ships from small one-man fighters to a huge six player battleship or hop into a turret to shoot down enemy ships. Capture sectors to gain resources for your team, use resources to buy better ships and ultimately destroy the enemy flagship.

Battle of Tau Ceti now has a logo! Check out the blue and red versions. Also, a new weapon has been added to the game: Proximity Mines! Good for taking out unsuspecting fighters, these round out the minelayer corvettes arsenal.

In addition, a new weapon for the Minelayer Corvette has been added: Proximity Mines! These are deployed in the same way as tracking mines but they will explode when ships get close enough. They do far less damage than tracking mines but they are ideally suited to taking out fighters. Tracking mines are neither faster than nor do they even target fighters and corvettes which makes them useless in this pursuit. Alternatively, proxy mines are made for it. Well-placed proximity mines can change the layout of a sector in your favor!
