Ataxia is a four player, co-op, action platformer that takes place in an alternate reality. It follows the lives of our four main characters. Kay: a young boxer shooting for greatness. Mika: team captain of earth's newest zero gravity pastime "Geocrosse". Sable: a stubborn scientist with a knack for cosmic architecture. And last but not least, Dex, a struggling street performer who's finally on the fast train to fame. Four characters with very different life paths, will soon be forced together, to stop a galactic travesty.

Dex is a young runaway. At 13 he left the sedentary life of a scholar in exchange for one full of fast money and fame; vowing that one day the world would remember the name “Dex.” Life on the road was tough but nothing would deter him from achieving his dream. By the age of 19 he had gone from lowly street performer to traveling circus extraordinaire, seeing the world by train. His selfish ambitions got him onto the rails of success but he could have never anticipated what awaited him just beyond that new horizon.
