Devader is a game built using my own custom webgl-html5 engine, that I published on Steam in September 2019. To be frank, sales have been terrible, I've barely sold 200 copies. Reviews are scarce but positive. So far I've not managed to let go and kept working on my game. I still have tons of ideas I would like to add. New vehicles for different play styles are on the drawing board, additional enemies and bosses have been partially built. I'm pretty sure I will be adding all this content no matter how sales do, it's just a question of time and resources.
All in all I spent 4 years working on the actual game, but started working on the engine nearly 10 years ago (with completely different objectives).
It would be great if you gave Devader a try. Feedback is very welcome, be it positive or negative. Any mentions, tweets or reviews are greatly appreciated.
Devader is a single player or local-co-op experience for up to 5 players (1 mouse/keyboard + 4 gamepads).
Works best in Chrome + works in Firefox. Safari and IE are currently not supported.
