3079 is a futuristic, open-world action first-person role playing game. You arrive on a planet experiencing constant war. It is your duty to find out why the warring factions cannot find peace on their own & hopefully restore it yourself. All areas, buildings, items, quests and characters are randomly generated. You will find unique lands & challenges. I hope you enjoy it! "Just want to say again that this is a great game! For those of you who feel like its a minecraft copy just beacuse of the cube textures used you really need to rethink what a game is about! The game play of 3079 is nothing like minecraft it is pretty unique as well as how the weapons all have diffrent stats and colors kind of reminds me of Borderlands. However it is still an original idea for a game and i still play it from time to time. You should at least try the demo and if you like it please buy it and support fruit! :D Still give it a 9/10 ! Why do some melee weapons have 'Projectile Damage' bonuses, and some guns have 'Melee Damage' bonuses? If the bonuses are only active when the item is equipped (that is, in hand, not just in a quick-select slot), what use are they? |

They will increase the item's value, which is useful when selling it (if you found, was awarded or stole the item). Otherwise, the stat isn't of much use to the player when equipped. |

How much does the item increase in value, exactly? Is it worth it to tack a low-level upgrade item to a low-level upgradeable item, if only to save on weight and space? |

The increase in value will vary quite a bit, depending on level & statistic amount. However, if you are looking to save weight & space, you probably should just sell the item directly instead of combining it. You only can combine an item once, so might as well wait for a better combining opportunity. |

I mean, are upgrading components worth more on their own? |

Hrrrrrmmmmm I'm not actually sure of the top of my head... it may depend on the item you are upgrading. It is probably very close, at least. |
