3079 is a futuristic, open-world action first-person role playing game. You arrive on a planet experiencing constant war. It is your duty to find out why the warring factions cannot find peace on their own & hopefully restore it yourself. All areas, buildings, items, quests and characters are randomly generated. For those of you who feel like its a minecraft copy just beacuse of the cube textures used you really need to rethink what a game is about! The game play of 3079 is nothing like minecraft it is pretty unique as well as how the weapons all have diffrent stats and colors kind of reminds me of Borderlands. However it is still an original idea for a game and i still play it from time to time. You should at least try the demo and if you like it please buy it and support fruit! :D Still give it a 9/10 ! Been playing 3079 for a while now, noticed a few things, and thought I'd give my thoughts on the game. Seen the game evolve and change over a 3 month period.

1) Skill Suggestions:

MINING:
-> Can use mining tools to mine all rocks, allowing a player to build a tunnel through a mountain or build a secret underground fortress. As it stands now, you can't mine the indestructible rocks.
-> Mining increases faster as it doesn't seem to increase much anymore for me. Maybe give a small experience bonus per rock, mineral or dirt mined.
-> An experience bar for each skill so you know when it will approximately get a "level-up". This would also help to show if what you are doing is actually increasing the skill or not.

CHARISMA:
-> Can get an increase buying and selling goods.
-> Additionally I haven't figured out how to increase it normally (what do I need to do?)

FIREARMS:
-> Increased skill improves fire-rate of weapons

MELEE:
-> Increased skill improves attack-rate of weapons

STEALTH:
-> Attacking from stealth gives a sneak attack bonus.
-> Moving near targets without them noticing you also increases Stealth. (would make sense yes?)

NEW SKILLS:
-> "Piloting Skill" = Gained by getting kills in the mini-ship. What it does is it increases maximum flight speed, reduces afterburner energy drain and (if you don't want it, then ignore it) improves the maneuverability of the mini-ship.

2) New Blocks:

ANTI-WATER Block:
-> This block removes water from the surrounding area, allowing you to build structures underwater, and clear them of water.

WATER Block
-> This block adds water into the surrounding area where there was no water previously. Great for making a pool or a place where you can jump into from a great height without dying... say from a sky fortress perhaps?

REPAIR Block
-> This block automatically repairs damaged blocks nearby (ie blocks hit by weapons fire) as well as turrets and if you fly close enough, a Mini-ship.

AUTO-HEAL Block
-> Like the repair block but automatically heals over time anyone that is near it. Useful for combat situations, or when building a base and getting attacked.

3) New Items:

Autonomous Building Tool:
-> This tool regenerates lost points without the need to buy more points. However it can only build concrete or metal blocks and nothing else. Great for the aspiring builder.

Pilotable Mega Ship:
-> Just as the name says; a pilotable mega ship.

Wow, quite the list!

1) I instead made satchel bombs blow up the "indestructible" blocks. I don't want it as simple as clicking away any block away with the mining drill...
2) There isn't skill "experience points". It randomly gives you a skill boost if you need it. If you are not getting any more mining skill points, check your mining drill level -- you may need a higher level one.
3) Charisma is increased by hanging out with followers. Get some guys to follow you, and your charisma will go up. Charisma is good for getting better discounts on items.
4) I can't really increase a weapons rate of fire due to network bandwidth problems discussed elsewhere. Improving your firearms skill already increases damage and lowers energy cost, which I think is fair.
5) Having stealth increase when it is already high enough to not be detected doesn't make much sense... I have it increase when you get shot, which requires two things which I think makes it fair: you getting detected (which means your stealth skill needs an increase) and you taking some damage.
6) I cannot endlessly scale up the miniship's flight speed, so I can't really use that...
7) I don't have "water blocks", just a universal water height... so I can't make those blocks :|
8) Blocks don't have a sense of damage.. they only randomly break when being hit.
9) I already have the "recharge" block which restores health and energy.
10) I made the construction tool (re)charge up to 256 points, which I think is enough for one tool.
11) The megaship would be pretty neat (like flying a capital ship)... but how to make it "balanced"?

That was a really good move, making satchel bombs blow up the harder blocks. (Didn't realize this yet, as I haven't done much mining.) Sounds more satisfying. :)

K, so where can I find satchel bombs? I've playing the game since the patch for em came out and looked at the vendors and haven't found a signal one. Are they one use or something?

Sometimes I find them at vendors...but most of the time I find them in empty rooms.
