3079 is a futuristic, open-world action first-person role playing game. You arrive on a planet experiencing constant war. It is your duty to find out why the warring factions cannot find peace on their own & hopefully restore it yourself. All areas, buildings, items, quests and characters are randomly generated. For those of you who feel like its a minecraft copy just beacuse of the cube textures used you really need to rethink what a game is about! The game play of 3079 is nothing like minecraft it is pretty unique as well as how the weapons all have diffrent stats and colors kind of reminds me of Borderlands. However it is still an original idea for a game and i still play it from time to time. You should at least try the demo and if you like it please buy it and support fruit! :D Still give it a 9/10 ! I have come to the conclusion that we need to express our gratitude to Phr00t for making such an awesome game. I just wanted to say thanks for giving me something to play when I'm bored and Minecraft doesn't seem all that interesting, and for listening to your community. I can't stop playing the demo and am definitely going to buy the full game on wednesday when I get paid. Phr00t stands by the products Phr00t makes, that much is evident just from reading the forums. I also got a few of my friends interested in buying this game. Every little bit helps! |

Just bought the game a day early, having found some spare change in my rented room. I have to say that the demo, while definitely amazing, doesn't give a full picture of 3079's awesomeness. It doesn't give you the chance to see enough game features to truely appriciate what went into the game, nor the chance to notice those little limitations that make the character progression able to work without forcing a complete lack of challenge. It seems every little decision was so well thought out, even if the UI could, IMO, use a little work to enhance that feeling of immersion while still allowing for a good retro feel. |
