Hope I've posted this in the correct forum.
So I've been doing a lot of reading of old threads regarding the Un-Authed status. I understand that newer members must go through this manual process with their uploads, but what I learned reading the older posts, is that members who have been around for a while get this process automated.
My question is, what is the time period a member must have an active account for, before they transition to the automated process?
My suggestion is rather simple... I noticed a lot of suggestions in the older threads that really would require intense overhauls of the coding behind the site and that's crazy when a simple solution to peoples frustration would be to simply make it say "this process can take between one and five days".
The latest version of my WAD has been in the Un-Authed status for two days now... and I totally understand the need for the process, so this isn't a complaint... but I do understand the frustration some users have expressed in the past. Maybe a simply change to this screen can help alleviate some of the concern or frustration for newer users?
Again, not at all a complaint. But I have been thinking on this for a couple of days and couldn't really find any information with regards to my question.
