Supreme commander forged alliance multiplayer save Thread

Hi.

Wanting to be able to save multiplayer game of Supreme commander - Forged alliance, I downloaded and installed the "Multiplayer save FA" mod. Unfortunately it did not work; I was able to activate the mod, yet on the loading screen after launching the battle at the multiplayer lobby, the game stops responding (displaying the loading screen indefinitely) and I have to exit the game by means of alt+F4 command or similar. It has to be mentioned that I am running the game through Steam. I don't know if that has anything to do with the mod not working properly, but I mention it, just in case.

Has anybody had the same issue? If yes, is there a solution? Also, do both / all players participating in the multiplayer match have to enable the mod, or just the host?
