Problem with Download Thread

I've tried to download the "Fall of Kobol" mod. Both the "FULL" and "BAKED" versions. When I try to extract the files, I get an "operation failed" error message and it shows that there are NO files in the download. Any ideas??? Thanks.

You could try other mirrors. Also, check out your internet connection. There may be connection interruptions that may result to a damaged downloaded file.

It's a possibility, but "Armada 3, Interregnum, Ascendancy, Babilon 5, Galactic Empire, and Requiem" all work fine. And would you know the other mirrors? Thanks.

When you click on the "DOWNLOAD NOW" button, you get a pop-up window which says (for example) "Click to download SotF.FoK.Reb.1.82.37.1.2.7z if it doesn't start automatically or try another mirror." (on top of the pop-up window). Click on the mirror link and you'll get plenty of alternatives for you to use .

Thanks for the advise, but every copy of 1.82.37.1 or 1.82.37.0 I've downloaded give me the same result. So instead I downloaded 1.82.36.1 & the 1.82.36.2patch, and so far so good. Thank-You.

No problem! Glad I was of help . I do hope an admin will look into this though, maybe there's something wrong with the mirrors of that mod they could fix.

I think you should try 7zip instead of Winrar or zip and make sure that you have enough free space to extract files.

I am having trouble with a few of the downloaded mod that I have collected within the last week or so; I still run an XP Pro computer and unless you are sending me a replacement that will run my software lets just stick with the project at hand, Three (3) days trying to get Complex 3.1 alone when I decieded to try out some of the older ones that others have tried with good results considering It was mostly guess work and maybe some understanding ? Dedura is having some sort of a Nervous Break down right now and I'm more lost know then when I didn't have a clue ! I'm down to 10 min. from Complex Finishing the download from this morning 2 am I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! Is it possible that the new upgrades are not meant for my set up ?

6600@ 2.40GHz 2.99GB ram and 1GB Graphics Card I have an awful lot of these mod stored for HW1 and 2, saving to DVDs soon. Looks like Complex finished its download... hold on one sec...ERROR: I:\uTorrent Downloads\ComplexSimple.1 (1).rar isn't archive or this archive is corrupt: archive signature not found at the end of archive. Please recover it using 'r' command or use -tp- option to ignore Recovery Record same as the other three (3) tries so WHAT'S UP ?????
