Indie networking Opportunity Thread

If you are located in Southern California and want to network with other indie game developers and enthusiasts then you should check out our indie game expo. We are going to have music food and drinks and showcase some indie games and 3d rendering technology. I am hoping that this will be a good opportunity for people who are trying to take the “road less traveled” into the gaming industry.

Looks like it could be good. How many people are signed up so far?

not a lot but I got vendors reserving spots.

so far my campaign has just been word of mouth, so I have a lot of people that say they will go but nothing on paper. I have been networking with some recruiting agents in the industry and my hope is that they will be able to reach potential attendees. If you are in the orange county area and want top talk biz with other gamers, you should check out BEER WEDNESDAY.

There is going to be good food, good people and live music.

Nice to see low-key indie computer enthusiast events making a comeback. Reminds me of the old Commodore-Amiga days. It was always amazing so see people's ingenuity.

I am on good terms with the people that are managing the hotel and I got a pretty good deal. I am hopping that this event does well and we can make it an annual event.
