Indie Gamers Assemble, Virtual Earth Online Needs You to Test Our New Servers Thread

We are nearing full launch and would greatly appreciate as many of you as possible to try out Virtual Earth Online and really test the new servers.

It has taken over 5 years to get to this stage. The technology behind this game is STUNNING! The game is live and online, currently free to download until we fully launch through Steam.

Game is only available on PC format at the moment, other platforms will follow after launch.

The VEO game is a hybrid between the successful Minecraft and Sims video games coupled with stunning Google Earth technology to produce what is not just the worlds largest online video game but what could be considered the future of the internet. The entire Earth is in the game, every river, every road and yes, your house is in the game.

The game play for VEO is based on the “sandbox” concept. Players have tools and building materials available to them and the players are able to build anything they like in the game. Players can purchase a block of land anywhere on Earth, finally you can own your dream home with an ocean view.

The technology developed for VEO is staggering, not only is the entire Earth reconstructed within the game but once players purchase their block of land they are free to build, explore and interact with other players in the game.
