Games engines for strategy Thread

HI, need help witch choice game engine for my project (economical strategy)
Graphic will be 2d , about 10k scripts for object .
Have experience in Cryengine and unreal but don’t like unreal license .

So what game engine recommended to use ?

For 2-D? Maybe Godot Engine.

If there's a libre game that has a similar engine to what you're going to be needing, you could use that as well. I've never played this kind of game before, but here is a list of games that I think are the same sort of type:

Basing your game on an existing one is likely to be much easier than starting from scratch, since most of the mechanics you need will already be in place and you'll just have to extend it to make it exactly what you want.
