Hello Everyone,

In the coming weeks and months I want to publish several small articles about different aspects of Soulknight Survivor. In this first article I want to share some insights of the levels, difficulty, medals and achievements.

The map of Soulknight

When you begin your journey, you can only enter „Fearsome Forest“, which is the first of five levels. To unlock the next level, you need to survive for at least 25 minutes in any of the difficulties.

Each of the levels has its own set of monsters, and they are ascending in difficulty. So it most probably makes sense to play the first level for a while to earn some souls and to be able to level up some stats or maybe find better equipment.

The difficulty selection

When you select a level, you can choose between Easy, Medium, Hard and Ultra.

But this difficulties aren‘t only existing to make the enemies (and your life) harder. The higher the level and the selected difficulty, the higher is the chance of finding better loot in chests.

On top of that, the appearance of the level changes with higher difficulty.

You can also earn up to four medals by surviving 5, 10, 20 or 30 minutes. They are mostly cosmetic, but there are four achievements, which can be unlocked by earning medals.

The achievement window

There are currently 61 achievements overall. They are of course in steam, but also in-game and each achievement has a little reward to claim. So if you are an achievements hunter, there will be a lot to do for you. ;)

That’s all for today. If you like this article and if you're interested in Soulknight Survivor, you can put it on your wishlist on steam and play the demo right now.
