DragonSource is a Visual Basic 6 multi-player gaming engine, which uses the DirectX 7 graphics engine and WinSock networking system.
DragonSource is derived from the old Mirage Source engine, revived to keep it's legend alive.
DragonSource is the base for many popular games and gaming software such as Playerworlds, Xtremeworlds, Secrets of Mirage, Mirage Online, Deloria Online/Origins, Jerrath Online, Crystalshire, Eclipse Origins, Mirage Creation and more.
It has been proven that DragonSource can be a powerful and flexible engine. Many have upgraded to DirectX 8 and 9 to create real 3D games.
DragonSource has also been used as a base to create a partially graphical online text-based game.

Sure, but it would require some rewriting. If you wished to allows the character to jump or fall, you would need to add a gravity system.
