ModMaker
is very much in a Beta state. I am releasing it here in the hope wit
will prove as useful to other modders as it has for me. See my ModDB blog for more information about ModMaker.
Version 1.2 improves on the New Mod wizard by adding support for Episodic single player mods , configuring the project files to work with your version of visual studio, setting C++ projects to compile and debug from your mod's install folder. All you need to play your new mod is to compile it and hit run in visual studio,
The new version also fixes a bug in the previous versions which prevented mods created through the wizard appearing in Steam.
ModMaker, version 1.2 adds the ability to easily add a custom icon for your mod by clicking on the mod title in the main window. Just pick the image you want and ModMaker does the rest.
Half life 2 Episode 2's file location is not in:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\half-life 2 episode two\ep2\"
The actual file location is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\ep2"
Thanks for the heads up. I am trying to recall the context in which this is used.
It says to me when I try to run my mod after I have created a it, made a map and compiled it that it could not load library content. Any suggestions?
