Updated alpha v0.1.2 keeps the extent of the previous release v0.1.1, but fixes some major issues, such as accidental falling through the floor, or animation freezing. A lot of additional detail has been added to the environment in this release as well, like decals, debris, and more models and updated textures. Also menu offers some new settings, such as puzzle assistance or mouse sensitivity.
A new feature, puzzle assistance, if enabled in the settings, suggests hints to the player if they get stuck. This can also be triggered as a one-off puzzle hint that immediately helps the player move on in a gentle, spoiler-free way. Previous version also lacked mouse sensitivity settings, which is implemented in v0.1.2 of Blameless.
This version aims to evaluate the gameplay, puzzles, controls and overall atmosphere. The storyline is merely hinting away the plot featured in upcoming final release and is not by any means full. Since this is the first alpha release, you might experience errors, bugs, or crashes. If so, please give me a chance to improve the experience from playing Blameless by commenting on issues here on the profile page. So I was playing 0.1.2. Nice visuals and puzzles need some thinking - it's good. I left nail in 1st room and in second I was not able to use wirecutter. I was tryung to get help from H but it's still inform me about forklift I've already used.
Anyway - I like it and missing for next demo !
