Opened in 2013 and Owned and Operated by Patrick Hale, Rooks Productions, creates video and animation for companies like Discovery Studios, Nike, American University, the US Government, Non-Profits and Netflix and more! Our approach to each project is hands on, practical and heavy in pre-production to achieve the desired results. Offering Writing, Producing, Directing services as well as niche skills like 3D Scene Modeling, Scriptwriting Services, Specialized Equipment Rentals and of course, we travel! Patrick is the lead filmmaker and producer behind Rooks Productions. Previously, he built and ran the in-house studio for American Councils for International Education, and held a number of roles at Discovery, Inc. and Discovery Studios.
Patrick Hale is an award-winning commercial and short film director based in Los Angeles, CA and Washington, DC. He brings his love of world-building and innovative production design to help clients tell cinematic stories that connect with diverse audiences and move people to action.
