Thought I would share a bit more of the progress. :)
The basics of the world in 3D space has been finished. Here are a couple images to show you the current progress. (Don't mind the Minecraft-like cubes, they are only temporary!)
The world map rendered out into planes for each pixel.
The height map applied to the map to show a bit of depth.
Will work more on the map generation for a bit before branching out into other areas.
