This is a quick update for anyone following our ModDB page:
We meant to have a huge update for you two days ago, but our servers exploded and rendered our websites really slow, like molasseses. True story! It was a mess and our lovely crew of nerds pulled all-nighters trying to fix the problems. They're repaired right now, but we're waiting a day just in case it happens again.
Anyway, the deal is, we haven't forgotten ModDB. At all. We love you guys! One of the reasons for a delayed announcement that was this week, rather than Thursday when we announced it to other press, was there's a special offer for ModDB is coming, along with some special announcements about our launch. If you think the price is steep and you're a ModDB user, you might just be a little happier tomorrow. That's all I can say :)
Exploded? Either you mean the coding failed or...?
The actual server where our domain is completely failed :( We have backups and it's online now - nothing to do with the game itself (that's fine, servers are up, etc.), so much as our internal websites - but we're waiting to make sure everything's fine before we do any huge posts.
