This is our first update and its a good one. There will be stuff that our old members have seen before so the old stuff is for the sake of new members.

Well right now we have textured the halo ring that I|Ducci made , here is what dandi8 ended up with with the final texture
Now dandi8 was trying to push the PSP to its limit (map wise)
MAPS
We have started making maps, halo classic and halo inspired .If you have a original idea that you think would be a great halo themed map send us a detailed description or concept art (Please try to stay away from big outside maps as it will kill the psp).

We will try to give regular updates on this total conversion mod for the playstation portable, thats all for day guys.

looks really good, just wondering, will this work on the iphone/ipod touch as there is a quake port on that device?

I seriously doubt it. While the iPhone's graphics may rival devices like the DS and the PSP, the lack of any physical buttons would make development difficult and time-consuming. Even if they did produce an iPhone version, I likely wouldn't play it as the controls would be clunky (no offense to the developers, but there's really no way to create an FPS on the iPhone without crappy controls).

This is looking very, VERY promising, my only issue is the godawful CS1.6 hands with some thing stuck on them. I'm a modeller, and if you need any help, you can always contact me on STEAM as Nige111.
thanks but am afarid we cant do much about the hands as right now its 200 triangles which would be perfect for the psp once its texture it will look alot different we are focus on the texture for detail - remember that this is a playsation portable and we have tough limitations unless we dont care about the framerate we will have to have very low poly hands so we can focus more on the gun thats why there so detailed for a psp game
When you're going for hands, which version of Halo are you trying to mimic? Halo 1 or 2 and 3?

That will NEVER happen.

hacking it sounds bad is more like making it more functional by adding a custom firmware
Will it need CFW & Quake, or will it work with official firmware & just be a download-&-play thing without anything else? would it have multiplayer too?
yes it will need a CFW ,but no it wont need quake
our 1st release will be a multiplayer beta with bots and a few maps
the big plan is to have a singleplayer and multiplayer game so yes multiplayer is a yes + bot option
This looks very promising but when installing it to your PSP (The game or the CFW) how high is the risk of bricking your PSP?
very little as even if it gets bricked there is now a free unbricker :)

I'm just wondering, why you chose the quake engine rather than id tech 2 or 3?
well there are a few reasons , Quake is easier to mod and make a stand alone game, it runs full speed on the PlayStation portable and its a very flexible engine if you have to right people working on in
