We're very happy to announce that the Alpha Funded version of Space Farmers can now be pre-ordered on Desura!
This is the cheapest we're planning on having the game for some time, so please head on over to the game page and take a look.
It contains 6 playable areas of the game and features the mechanics we've been showing off at recent events like Insomnia in Telford and GameCity in Nottingham. These include things like Gravity Gloves (for carrying heavy pigs), unstoppable laser cannons, Hover Backpacks and (of course) energy shotguns to name a few.
If you'd rather try before you buy then we're also putting out a free alpha version at the same time. This has three levels included and is compatible with the full version. If one of you has the full version you can both play all 6 areas!
Our next planned update will contain two or three new areas to play. It will feature new enemies, new gadgets and new crazy oddities the kind of which you've not yet seen in a game featuring farmers in space! Were hoping this will go live within the next few weeks.
The final game will have over 20 playable areas as well as an endless mode (which we're still trying to figure out!) Before we're done we'd love to hear your feedback, so check it out and let us know what you'd like to see in the game.
