Secretly I've been testing out the possibility of WorldZEnd being a hybrid game. All the same rts features, but the option to switch into a first person mode. Controlling one character, the leader, and being able to lead your group on scavenges, kill zombies, and overall experience the world you're creating.
Here's a preview of what the first person mode would look like (without UI)
This mode would be completely optional, and won't affect anything overall. It just gives you the chance to get first hand experience in this zombie world.
Originally I wasn't planning to release any information on this until I was further in development and after KickStarter. I didn't want to promise anything I wasn't sure I was going to finish. WorldZEnd wasn't funded on KickStarter, so now I'm rebooting the game, and the concept.
SO I decided to tell everybody, and see how you all feel about this being a hybrid game. Please comment, and let me know what you think. If you're against it, tell me, your opinions all help me to form this game.
