The bond with Roy is essential for survival, as his acute senses and loyalty can be the key to outsmarting the undead. When faced with imminent danger, players can shout "ROY" into their microphone, prompting their virtual canine companion to come to their aid. Roy can alert players to hidden threats, fetch items, and even distract zombies, providing a crucial lifeline in the nightmarish landscape.
