A very quick status update on the game and a few secrets regarding overall gameplay and basic game concept.

First we would like to apologize to all of the fans that were waiting for this game to be released. Check the Exanim Games page to see why there is such a gap in time.

Status of the Game
Alpha is so close to being over and we still haven't described the game to our fans yet. We're sorry to say that you all will still have to wait for the scenario explanation and basic gameplay until we fully understand the concept ourselves but I (soulite) will let everyone in on a few secrets. As far as the actual status of the game. We are currently rushing ourselves in order to finish the Alpha so that we can send it off to PowerA for feedback. We have completed 4 out of 5 levels, set up basic audio, and have optimized the player and enemy system so that making 20 levels should be easy once we finish the fifth level.

Game Secrets

  1. Each world/section will have 20 to 25 levels.
  2. The game will be set in space.
  3. You beat levels by reaching a certain amount of points
  4. Most importantly: The main menu will have a play button
  5. Also the object of the game is to.... the.... and there will be.... (just gotta love the tease)

Once our fan base grows and we get half way through beta we will begin to share everything with the community. When we begin openly discussing the game we will also begin asking our fan base what they would like to see and implement everything that we think fits into the game. This is still a ways away so for now just think and dream about the game.
