A quick and important status update on the QuickShoot Alpha Build

Hi all, we felt like letting everybody know the status of our game after we spent most of friday and all of today working amazingly hard on it. So after a lot of sweat and blood and a whole lot of tears these are things we were able to implement into the game:

  • Made bomb AI smarter so that it could better find enemies/objects (not) inside of the level and destroy them
  • Made the enemy AI better able to search for the player so that glitches involving player and enemy AI are less likely to occur
  • Finally finished the boss level (this is where most of the tears were shed)
  • Increased health crate AI fix glitches between player health an health crate

What's Next?
Since we are showing Alpha build 1.0 to PowerA on Wednesday we are rushing to implement quite a few things into the game. Here they are in order of importance:

  1. Better Level GUI
  2. Boss health bar
  3. Main Menu GUI
  4. Improved particle FX and sound FX

If we don't manage to get them all up and running by Wednesday then we'll add them as soon as possible.
