Read up on it more, I could be wrong but I believe this game was renamed after it got some really bad press. Yeah after some searching it used to be called Dino Beatdown and they sold it as a new game however if you check the Steam community page for it you will see what all the hate is about.

I wouldn't see anything wrong with it being "Sold as a new game" Since Spiral has remade the entire game from scratch. It replaced the old "Dino Beatdown" cause no one was going to buy or play it anymore since Dino Horde was much better and was being given to anyone who had bought the old one anyway. If people like you actually decided to try the game out for yourselves instead of avoiding it because someone told you it was diseased you might find that you actually enjoy it.

We aren't participating in the Steam Summer Sale this time around as we have two major events rolling out right when it ends.

We will be in the Steam Winter Sale later this year, though.
