I've spent all week working through the UI- menu screens mostly. Last night, as well as tonight has been focused on the audio engine and sound effects. I have found it extremely difficult to find and create appropriate sound effects that add value to the game - immersive as opposed to distracting, and blend cohesively together. I've decided to keep it simple for now and to expand the sound effects in later updates.
This weeks development focus has been on the audio engine, sound effects and UI.
