Belgian game studio GRIN pops a bottle of champagne as their upcoming Woolfe game was greenlit for Steam after only five days!
Greenlit!
“Our Greenlight-race started friday the 14th.”, Wim Wouters, GRIN’s founder, explains. “Upvotes and comments went through the roof as Woolfe turned out to be loved by the Steam community. It was delightful news for the whole crew. We followed our progress day and night until we received the big news just last Wednesday the 19th.”
Full speed ahead
GRIN has been developing Woolfe - The Redhood Diaries for over a year now. It will be a dark sidescroller game in which a vengeful Red Riding Hood has to travel through dangerous 3D environments filled with steampunk elements. She will be up against different fairy tale enemies before she can reach her nemesis B.B. Woolfe.
“The Greenlight process has been extremely enlightening. We communicated with numerous fans and critics. Localization has already been a hot topic, as well as polishing the gameplay. A lot of them encouraged us to take Woolfe to Kickstarter. The past week has given us a lot to think about.” says Wouters. “Meanwhile, we’re working our tails off to finish the first chapter which will be released coming spring.”
