Hello, again!
This week the development update is a video showing off some of the new features in the game!
The main items in the video are:
Revealing of the new inventory UI
Automatic weapon raising/lowering system
Leaning/Cover system
Dynamic cooperative animation support
It's around a 10 minute video, but has quite a lot of information packed into it. Watch it in high def to see more of the inventory details. Here is a link to the forum post with the embedded video:
Looks fantastic, cant wait to play!
Just out of curiosity, is this standalone, or do I need to own Crysis 3 or something of that nature to play? Let me reiterate; can I download this and play it without owning any games that run on the CryEngine?
CryEngine has a stand alone version now, which I'm pretty sure this game is built off of. So I believe the answer is no. Both crysis 3 AND crysis 2 run off the Cry engine 3 engine btw. The engine thats used to mod those games is called sandbox, which is essentially a tool kit for the crysis games.
Miscreated will be a standalone game and not require any additional software to run or play.
Looking great!Especially the animations, during the video you mentioned that animations look choppy, but IMHO they look awesome.
Yeah idle and such anims looks like mo-cap stuff. I guess those are from crysis though.
