With Retro styled games, it's all about the pixelart. Want something on screen? you've got to draw it. You can't use photography, you can't just pose a model and render it - every individual element on screen has to be drawn.

This image has been created to be part of the end sequence for Aston's story mode in Eight Dragons.
How long do you think it should take to create 1 image for a end of game image?

This one took eight hours of continuous work, I won't make you sit through all of that however, so here's a video of those eight hours condensed into two minutes.
