Our turn-based game Cold Contract has reached the important point where all functionalities are validated with a high level of performance:
- Generation of mercenaries and their equipment for each new start;
- Procedural generation algorithm for the world map and targets;
- Procedural generation algorithm for the isometric maps linked to targets;
- Generation of random missions and their context of deployment for your team;
- Scrolling movements (without fps drop);
- Vision and hearing system for characters on the battlefield.

We have begun to balance the main two parts of the game with incomes, weapons, level of enemies, skills linked to levels, and much more.
The artificial intelligence of the real-time environment, where you manage squads and base camp, has been tuned to be more adaptive to your progression. We have also added a new marker on the enemy forces to see the level of troops sent against your positions.
The artificial intelligence linked to the isometric battlefield with the turn-based system has been also updated to act with more logical behaviors. For example if an enemy choose a target and detects a new character on the move, he will do a new analyze of his environment in order to confirm the target or change his plan. This new behavior makes the AI better against a large number of mercenaries. This follows our objective to place the AI as one of the best features of our game.
The six last upgrades for the base camp have been defined and will be implemented soon.
We will now work on the diversity of tiles, several behaviors for AI and the story part.

Looks very promisingly, reminds me good old Jagged Alliance and Silent Storm. Tracking and waiting for an alpha/demo.

Yes, weapons will be better rendered, but at the end of the development because graphical part is the simplest and also the longest.
