The idea for Carnabrawl is to make a fighter set in the middle of a carnival parade. The characters will be inspired by different carnival traditions from around the world and the fighting will take place in balconies and rooftops while the parade passes on the streets.
For our first versions we made three basic character design choices but will start working with only two characters to focous on trying to get the feel of both of them right, and then we work on new things. Here are some some of the character arts we've made so far, new posts explaining their design choices and the idea for their gameplay mechanics will be made in the future.
