Another year of development comes to a close and within a heartbeat's notice, we are on track to getting the progress moving for the next year of development. The gears never stop turning for our team as we want to continue bringing Antreya Chronicles Online to the best version it can be before we release anything for our fans to see and play. With that in mind, let's talk about our plans for 2019.
First off, we want to inform you that we plan on making these Devlog's a monthly routine, starting with this one. By the 5th of each month, you can expect to find another Devlog updating you on the progress of Antreya Chronicles Online moving forward.
Now, our current progress of the game is much further than we were before, but unfortunately, everything is still kind of spaced out amongst our remote team that there is only so much to show off. The coding has been stabilized to function everything from various text chats to animations for running and swimming, and even some of the fast travel options. More clothing has been modeled, but still need to be textured - the same could be said about some creatures. The concept artists have been hard at work bringing us the images we need to complete our trailer, more items that will be listed as rewards in the upcoming Kickstarter, even more creatures, some basic items and pottery, along with creatures and clothing. We also managed to overhaul and complete some major updates to the Antreya Chronicles website to ensure accurate information and plenty of images of the games current progress.
One of the latest updates that many of you are likely wondering about is our games platform. We have found where we will be initially having Antreya Chronicles Online listed as a playable game. While we were originally thinking of going with Steam, we were approached by a new group that will be launching their platform in 2019 and will host our game. They give rewards to both developers and consumers who use their platform, so this is a win-win-win scenario.
The platform that we will be publishing on, initially for the PC, is known as The Abyss. We ask that you wait to pick your first game on the platform until Antreya Chronicles is available as there is a bonus for the developers when a new consumer picks our game as their first game on the platform.
Now, let us give you a quick schedule that we have in mind. Please note that this is NOT set in stone, but rather a list of dates for our desired progress:
January 2019 - Welcome Video and the remaining two Storytime Video's will be uploaded onto the Antreya YouTube.
February 2019 - The official Antreya Chronicles Online announcement trailer will be launched.
May 2019 - The first initial Closed Early Access version of Antreya Chronicles Online will be released.
June 2019 - Official crowdfunding page launch on Kickstarter.
July 2019 - Marketing and Team Size expansion following the successful Kickstarter.
October 2019 - Open Beta version of Antreya Chronicles Online will become available.
We have a lot of work still to do and we are hoping that 2019 will prove to be a very promising year for the Antreya Chronicles Online progress.
