Hello survivors!

Today we want to take a quick look at what will await you in version 0.3.1 of 'SurviveOn!'. For this patch we planned a lot of bug fixes and a huge new feature. But first of all, if you haven't done it already, check out version 0.3 of the game on IndieDB. But let's jump right into the new release of the game and take a look at what's to come.

Version 0.3:

Windows

SurviveOn! - Alpha 0.3 [Windows]

Linux

SurviveOn! - Alpha 0.3 [Linux]

Mac

SurviveOn! - Alpha 0.3 [Mac]

Water Update

With the new version of the game we want to rework our water-system and make the biggest part of the map, the ocean, enterable for the player. We are working on new environments under the surface of the ocean and want to enable a lot of new possibilities for the player to explore. The screenshots below will give you a sneak peak into what you can await in the new version. We are working on water physics and diving and already replaced the old water mesh with a high-quality one.

Bug fixes

The majority of bugs in version 0.3 was caused by the colliders blocking off the player from the ocean. Some players managed to avoid those blockades and enter the ocean which, to that point, was just a mesh without any water physics included. By doing that players managed to get to locations they weren't supposed to be at. Thanks to the new water system weare finally able to make all those locations enterable for you and filled with new content.

That's it for this short insight of what's to come in the new update of the game. We wish you happy holidays!
