The futuristic open-world action game, 3079, now has a new & improved sequel in the works! You can try out the free demo and get the full version now!

3089 is a whole new game that continues the 30×9 series. Many of the things you enjoyed in the earlier games returns to 3089, like procedurally generated terrain, items, quests & enemies set in a futuristic world full of action.

You are a promising robotic android design, made by the Overlord, placed on planet Xax.
Your performance in common combat, support & intel scenarios is being closely watched. However, will you become too much for them to handle? What else on planet Xax exists that the Overlord doesn't know about?

Check out the homepage @ 3089game.wordpress.com to get the free demo and even purchase the full game which is still in very active development!

I don't like the artstyle to be honest. I just doesn't good. The colors almost never match and the simplistic enviroment doesn't do any good to that either. When you make a "retro"/"8bit" - stylish game you should make it pretty at least make it pretty. (i.e. Paranautical Activity) It is possible but this game looks like you don't even tried

This looks very promising. I personaly think that this is a true sequel, rather than an update. I didnt play much of 3079, but I loved it. I hope people stop giving you grief about this.

Thank you for taking the time to show your support; it is greatly appreciated. I do believe as people try out the demo and play the game, they will realize this is a true sequel that I spent much time & effort in developing.

Welcome to planet SUUUUUX °.°'
The robot voice should pronounce it like AXE...

Ha! It is a pretty rough robot voice & I can see how you can get "sucks" from it :P The "proper" pronunciation of the planet name is "Zacks" -- I probably will tweak the voice in the next video to sound more correct :)

Instant buy from one of my favorite devs. Keep bringing out the games and I'll keep buying. Your games are weird, not the best looking but run fantastic on my old Win XP system. They are fun, different, awesome!

Edit - I didn't even have to read the feature list to know this would be different and great and a day 1 buy. It's kinda cool watching each game get more features, get more polished.

Looks like there was a bit more of an engine improvement, over 3079, than I was expecting, so you're right to call it a sequel. But I paid for 3079 when it was part of an "alphas" bundle and it failed improve after that, the "Alpha" was basically also the release version. Will you be providing more appropriate continued-development on this game?

There are many improvements in 3089 & I'm glad you notice.

3079 was at version v2.8.13b in the IndieRoyale alpha bundle. According to the version history:

Sites.google.com

... 3079 received 21 updates, including many major ones, after that bundle. Saying 3079 failed to improve after the bundle & that the "alpha" version was the release version is simply false.

I will certainly continue to develop 3089, but if you fail to realize the work I put into 3079, I can't guarantee you'll notice all the hard work I put into 3089 either. At any rate, I will work on 3089 until it is complete.
