I actually have an older version of Verok's patch because I got disappointed that he seemingly removed that feature. The 1.27 Patch allows you to set your own FPS limit — It's a difference of 10 FPS.

I too much prefer the speed of 50 FPS compared to the jittery 60 FPS fast paced action.

Anyway I write this because I ask if you want to upload the older patches here as well. I have 1.27 and 1.58 that I can give you for upload.

Now I have to download this to give it a shot!

I was considering looking up how to do this but frankly, I've had other things to do. But it's nice to know that it's apparently really easy.

What happened between them and why is the long hair removed?

Forgive me if I don't take what you say as absolute truth. I am sure there's a grain of truth in what you say but I'd like to hear it said from the author him/herself if that is the official stance.

Heh, yeah. I am no Daenerys fan but I do love White / Silver / Grey hair, and the chance to have that because of the Valyrian heritage - along with violet eyes - intrigued me. I like to have more choices than dirt-brown to black after all.

Native still does have hairstyles I enjoy but I felt that the choices in this mod was rather special. Hence why I choose to mention it ^^ Thus why it also disappoints me that they're all removed.

I haven't played this mod since 2.2 ( apparently, I had an old laptop and now with my new computer, I was shocked so I had to re-download the older versions to make sure I wasn't insane ) but I must ask..

Why did you go back to making the characters look like .. well crap really so to say? I mean the player-created characters of course.

In all versions since after 2.2, there's numerous of long hairs missing for female characters, the faces all look like native and pretty awful even when I use my standard set-up for them but like.. I just feel disappointed in that it seems to have taken a back step because I was really happy with how my character looked in 2.2.

Or did I just install the mod wrong like, is there something extra I need to do with 4.1 to have it look like it did with 2.2? Or is this how it is now?

Can't get this to work at all.

Tried putting the files in the skin folder, doesn't work.
Tried dragging all files onto gz/zandrom, doesn't work.

It'll load up the stages and the general textures, but apart from that it's just Doom. No Xenos, just a bunch of pinkies.

EDIT: oh wait never mind. I used the wrong files. Got it to work when I redownloaded the right ones from this page.
