So basically, it's a hack?

I believe there is another sound pack for the predator here on ModDB.

I didn't think it necessary since I've added a wave file for each sound in the download.

No the plasma and vision sounds are from AvP2, the cloaking sounds (on/off) are from AvP (the movie), the water-decloaking sound is one I made myself.

I have made the sounds I was talking about. For some reason it hasn't been put in the AvP section, so here is a link:

I know it's not the exact sound from the movie, but I think it's more than close enough and besides, had I used a recorded version from the movie, the quality would have been bad and there would be background noises as well, but I appreciate your input none the less ;)

I can make a mod to replace the default plasma caster sound with the one from AvP2 (the game), which is also the one from "Predator", just in a better quality (I have other sounds as well, including the proper heartbeat etc.). I'd be happy to help, but I won't bother unless people want it, let me know. ;)

It replaces one of the other skins, probably the "Dark" skin, but it's the creator of the mod who decides that. Just choose the Dark skin in the selection menu (or whatever skin has been replaced) and it will be the new one ingame.

It's easy to install. All you gotta do, is put the .en file you want to use into your "Characters" folder located in your AvP folder. After you've done that, find the "multiplayer.lst" file, also located in the characters folder. Then open it with notepad, and add "Characters\PredWolf.en" in a new line at the bottom of the document (if "PredWolf.en" is the file you want to use of course).
You might as well just throw all your .en files in there at once. They wont be activated until you add them in the .lst file anyway.

A little side-note for all you who want to use, well any mod in singleplayer: You don't have to edit the .lst files for each map. Just go to your misc folder and edit the common.lst file there instead. This will enable the mods in both single and multiplayer at the same time.
