I noticed a few things with the Sprites
When an Imp throws a Fire Ball, Falls from the Ceiling or Jumps at you, they use the Original Sprites. (occurs sometimes)
The Burned Corpse of the Cacodemon is also the Original one
The Revenant Corpse (Also when you shoot the Head off), Gibs and when they crawl around are using the Original Sprites too
So I don't know if that's only me but I tested this with and without Mods
