Interesting idea, but the engine itself is way too old and clumsy. Also, it's not fit for continuous world. Also, we don't have a convenient editor.
And also, it can't be Warband without a strategic level. It can be a semblance of Skyrim, but very, very, very poor and pale one.

Fortresses don't have markets and taverns.
It's because Native WFaS don't have proper scenes with marketplaces and taverns. So, I removed them from the menu for now. Now I think I should reenable markets in the menu.

Hmm... Obviously, if others don't have such a problem, you should check if everything ok with your WFaS version, or module folder, or something.

Sorry, can't see anything for now. Marketplaces are everywhere. Each town has one, except for the fortresses.

It's probably because of your old savegame. I guess each regular troop with a gun, not just mercs, should behave like this. (Because there is new proficiency unlocked in the mod.) If so, you need to start a new game to avoid that bug, until I release the next version with a patch.

If you mean 'companions', probably you need to buy ammo for them, because their ammo may be expended.
