An adventure game. Like The Dig, The Longest Journey, Grim Fandango, Dreamfall... Curse of Monkey Island. The kind of game where you have to solve puzzles and think to progress.

'you wake up in a space station' is not the story! It's how it begins. The main character knows exactly who she is (the player does not), but not exactly where and why. A cliche? Yes, but this is sci-fi we are talking about, it's all about cliche.

I wouldn't start making an adventure game without a story and a good set of puzzles - I've got over 15 years of experience as a Pen'n'Paper Game Master so I've got a good archive of both plots and puzzles. You'll see, just wait till the game is out ;)

A story has to start somewhere and a wake-up scenario is a decent way to introduce a 'everyman archetype'... since you're going around as a writer maybe you can suggest an alternative beginning? I'm even willing to share a sketch of the plot if you'll promise not share it with anyone else. Send me a message if you are interested.

I do art and coding myself, so it's a bit hard to keep both at a good level and make the game in a few months not years. Don't expect art to be much better then what came in the demo - this is an indie production after all, done without help from UDK content or Unity Asset store by a team of one.
Story ...em, well... 'avolition' is a state characterized by general lack of motivation to pursue meaningful goals. In other words - a meaningful plot is not on my initial to-do list.

Staggering animation or some visual FX could show that a monster is hurt, it's hard to show how much with something like that.
Also making animations and effects takes time. I don't have a team of dedicated artists and animators - it's just me.

Some people will spend hours generating normal-parallax-occlusion-subsurface -ambient-accumulation textures, others will make hand-drawn textures... this one goes for the hand-drawn, hands down (pun intended).

Is this realtime 3D? If so, then it's one of the best toon shading I've seen...or just good art. Nicely done.

Thanks for the opinion.

The controls indeed can be a bit tricky, the next version will have an alternative camera control option, where the camera fallows the mouse pointer - more like in typical TPP games... or if You have a suggestion how the controls should work - I'm listening.

It would be great if it could run on OpenGL. Some people don't have Windows Vista/7/8 and I don't know of anything that can be made on D3D and can't be made on OGL. Such sad, much can't run, but still Wow!

Nah, it's a tech-demo of 'This Game!' FOR Windows. Windows in not a game, they say it's a operating system... or a way to get out of a burning building if You really must try to be funny.
