I've just dispatched 0.5.9 on desura (pending approval). That build will have again 2.7 as dependency

sounds like intel on windows. Unfortunately the intel windows drivers have some serious issues with opengl. You might want to upgrade them if possible.

check the spam folder. It's possible it's being marked as such from your email provider.

I've got to remove the dependency from glibc2.11 and now it just needs glibc2.7 again. For the next release (probably 0.5.9) you should be able to use it again.

Desura should handle the updates automatically. Don't use pslaunch to update if using desura to manage the install. We will disable it in the next release on desura so it doesn't confuse players. (it will still be allowed to override it but at user danger)

If you are talking of pslaunch it's on subversion Planeshift.svn.sourceforge.net.
We are working to make a more proper version of pslaunch for Desura by the next release.
Could you explain more about the problem? I've tried to launch it on Desura and I had no issues.
