not everyone. I don't use steam for example. GoG forever, no internet-connected singleplayer games. But I love this mod.

well, I have tried. The first impression is... complicated. And now I will try to analyze what I have seen.
At first, things I strongly like, as a list:
- the timeline. Really, it is a cool choice. So many historical possibilities!
- the variety. Items from Brytenwalda are stylish, items from 1257 AD are interesting. Of course, I haven't had a chance to examine the majority of troops, but I was glad to see the unique styles of factions.
- Brytenwalda-style "inaccuracy" of troops equipment. I like the fact that little warbands made from one kind of troops can look like totally different. There is the early Dark Ages, not some kind of modern time. So, diversity of equipment between persons in one unit is good.
- Scenes of battles. tested only in the northern part of Europe, but the dense forest is atmospheric.
- Music collection.
At second, things that leave me confused. I prefer not to call them "bugs" because it is only alpha-version of the mod. As a list:
- Hired warriors in taverns. Not all of them - only hired crossbowmen. They armed with longbows.
- FIR-TREES. Fir-trees in Alexandria O_o
- Red turbans in stores. They are green with white.
- Claimants speak good Spanish :)
At third, things that disappointed me. Here's a short list:
- When I saw "Brytenwalda code as a base", I have screamed in ecstasy. Hardcore, much hardcore, battlewounds, stamina in combat and strange but attractive faces. But... no stamina in combats T___T
- Global map. It is big and empty. No... It is impossibly big and very empty. Very uncomfortable to travel and very dull to explore.
So the first impression is mixed. I hope that someday this mod will be good. For now, it needs some work. I wish the author good luck and subscribe to mod's news.
it is not historically accurate for a timeline of the mod. For the given time Bulgarians are a conglomerate of Turkic Bulgars and South Slavs.

some sashimono and horo have req. of 13 power draw. I think that was intended to be the strength?
but it is quite disappointing when you hope for yumi-ashigaru and lose the battle because of spawning of teppo-ashigaru, who simply can't stand against fast cavalry... But, maybe you are right and I ought to use samurai/monks/hired gunners :)
Have one more... idea? or suggestion. Looters in mod have some scrap armor, so I thought about it and have come to one conclusion. Looters in all Warband mods aren't looters at all - they are peasants with falchions. But the purpose of existence of the looter is looting, and we have a big war-torn country at the pike of the warring states period with a constant clashing of feudal armies. So maybe it can be a not-so-bad idea to add some microscopic chances for looters to have some mid-
or high-level chipped/rusty/bent weapons and armors from corpses? Very little chances, of course.
finally played the mod. It is very good but has one problem from the original Gekokujo: skirmishers are armed randomly. Can you make anything with this? Tactics with gunners and with archers are quite different, so when they came in random. it really hurts(
Besides, the mod is good.

I was shocked when the first outlaw in the game lay down after the third shuriken. And amused, when saw dawn and night.
