I had to use a VPN to get launcher to let me play. I'm in the US. Is this some sort of ban to US players?

Hello I was trying to download, but the launcher is stuck on "preparing to download the game". So I downloaded the game through the torrent and followed the directions but it just pulls up a window showing the server information and the game does not launch.

Hey is there a reason the diffuse textures are DXT5? It would improve the performance about 30-50% if they were DXT1 and I guess there is no visual degradation. You might have a reason though. At any rate, thanks for the great pack.

Creator did a good job on maintaining the original look, while improving the fidelity of the textures I believe this is the best texture pack ever released for Stalker.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I'll pass on this mod because I want something more complete, rather than something that has been molested due to political views.

Anomaly uses a completely custom enhanced x64 engine created by a modder. Same with this mod. Some mods include texture packs like LFO having 2k mod, and the levels have been modified as well. So that basically makes the mod completely standalone. Where did you get the idea that Anomaly uses the same engine as the original games?

Yes the swamp ambient noises are too loud

I installed the way instructed but as soon as I talk to cold to begin the story mode the interface and menu go invisible, and all keys are froze. I am forced to end process.

I do think the ambient swamp sounds are too loud, I can't recall if that is vanilla but they are definitely pretty loud.

After realizing the story mode is bugged, and the fact the creator is awol, I deleted this mod off my drive.

I got the parallax part to work and it looked great. Hopefully more people find this mod and start modding it. It would be wonderful to have NS in the x64 engine with those shaders.

Also, it would be nice to have an addon section for this mod, so people can post mods they make. I made one that makes the mp5 a secondary.

I tried merging it to Narodnaya Solyanka 2016 and it seems like the lighting is a bit dark, especially the shadows. I find myself having to nearly max out lumscale.

Have you seen Meltac's Dynamic Shaders III? I tried merging it but it's difficult. The parallax shader looks like an improvement.

Advised to check the date, this was made in 2013 who knows if the creator is still around. I think back then this was considered good, Nowadays it's pretty terrible. The Structures Redux or 2k pack was good but the bump maps don't seem to work in SOC. The only pack that has working bump maps in SOC that I know of is TemplarGFX's Parallax Mod.

I have a request/suggestion, it would be nice if the detection bars were white vertical columns to the right of the mini-map instead of a circular shape. Being this is a square mini-map and all.

Hello, yes also the Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat story lines in their corresponding levels. I've always thought that would be awesome to put in CoC or Anomaly. I think that was originally planned by Alundaio but he stopped modding stalker a few years ago.

It would be amazing if someone put the original missions in all maps in Anomaly
