Why do i have to play games x_x why........ it's be slowing me down lol! I'm somewhat deciding where to go with the game from where I'm currently at with it. Oh well, hopefully I'll get some more motivation!

Working on the Graveyard

Veniamin_Hayes Blog

I'm currently now working on a graveyard. I'm thinking of releasing a demo featuring this graveyard as the playable area... I added a really cool rain effect too, that took a lot of effort! Then a friend told me, it was very hard on the eyes. :c would do I do now? I think it looks nice.

This is showing the graveyard, and what the rain looks like.

It didn't work.

Nope no luck :c I have another idea though on how to fix the word wrap. Guess that's what programming is all about huh? Just keep trying till you want to kill yourself cx I won't do that though cx

Better text?

I probably should mention this now, once this game is finished everyone technically needs TERMINAL installed on the window pc's. While I don't truly see this being a problem, since almost every windows pc has it pre-installed. Anyways I've been happening a problem with word wrap lately. The word wrap itself technically works fine; but you can see it auto adjusting it's mistakes as it goes. My first game play video shows this off pretty crudely, which I'm not happy with. Anyways I just made a breakthrough on a possible solution. Cross your fingers hope it works! ^^

Back to codin'

Got back home from the weekend and now it's back to programming! ^^ I want to finish enough this week to upload a demo for you guys to play! Stay tuned, I might post it sometime next weekend. There's only one thing I want to add to the menu, and that's being able to switch items around for organization. Once I'm done with that; I can start working in plot and world design. I'm so excited ^^

Started a Twitch come watch me program!

Feel free to come by, make suggestions and see live programming of "Leah"! ^^

I will try to stream as much as possible, I'll try to stream every time I program! Which is at least once a day!

Note: Feb 19-20 I'll be unable to due private matters so I can't program on those days :c

As with a update to "Leah": I've been currently working on the menu; it's looking well and functioning smoothly. No bugs yet!

Project Leah

Just started working on a RPG, been only about two weeks into it. It's looking pretty good right now and I'm liking it. I'm working on a lot of technical stuff first, like moving, menus, dialogue; etc. It's working pretty well. I also got someone to start working on music for me as well. This guy is talented ^^ I'm also going to try and make some tracks myself later, but for now I'm way to concerned about the game itself. Here is some current screenshots of the game and what is done so far. The entire game is in 256x144 resolution, and I plan to have all music in NES/SNES soundfonts.
