To further underline Shara's words, we want to go for more quality than quantity. We rather make each faction play and look different than just make copy paste factions "just to have them". From our mod you can expect the best possible gameplay as long as you like emphasis on battles and not building an empire, which this series is not made for anyways due to the building & map sizes. So yeah, we want to make battles be the most fun possible, with as much diversity as possible with what we are able to use. We rather do some "cool" new factions than the next copy paste greek faction. Tho, I would love to see some more ancient factions. It just makes more sense to improve on the existing and make them the best possible, rather than just to have them all and they look and play the same as other factions.

Yeah, there is a lot of fantasy going on already, so bear with us, making use of what we have rather than trying to cut things out to make it authentic. Yet you are always free to make an authentic submod for it.
Yes that would be more accurate, yet it still wont be 100% accurate anyways. We just have to go with what we are able to do due to the limitations :)
You need to extract the game files and find the text file for the abilities. It is basically a trial and error play when you want to mod this game.
You have to learn how to retexture first. Just type it into google or Youtube.
Also you need to edit the in game files to add the new retextures you have made.
We scrapped the "Indian" faction and made a new "Mercenaries" faction out of them. Check it out in the new game versions since 1.1.3
Hahah, good one! Yeah, you guys have to know that adding a complete faction is taking a lot of time and work. Yet you can feel free to join us and we will see if you guys are eager enough to learn to add it yourself if you really want it :)
You really seem to know a lot about historical accuracy. Actually as roman reenactor I know a lot of things now, that I did not know when I did those retextures. Still, dues to limitations in the files that is what we got and even with the real life historical knowledge I have now, there still are the same models to edit and I have to do something with them somehow to make it look different as it is needed for the game to not all look the same.
I wish we could do more authentic, yet this is what we can do as of now.
Correct, as a roman reenactor I know those facts now and still this is an unhistorical game, no matter how you look at it. Hence why I tried to do the best possible with the models we got already in game. They still look very different for my eyes than the other factions, which is enough for me for this game. Thanks for your support. :)
Hey, better later than never, so here is an answer: We are limited to the original game files as no 3D modeler joined the team yet. If you really want a bigger change, feel free to join us and learn 3D modeling. There is a free program called Blender and with enough Willpower I am sure you will be able to do something :)

they are not properly implemented. We might implement campaigns on a later date, yet we focus on Multiplayer rather than campaigns. Of course it would make it easier if someone, like you, would take on the campaigns and implement them step by step.

we got no plans to do something like that. We think the graphics are still great as it is on highest settings and nowadays most players will have a computer that got the specifications to run it fluidly on highest settings with all processor cores enabled.
I know there is another mod that tells to do that, yet I can not see an improvement.
Yet this does not mean that we will not do this in future if possible. We will definetly look into it and decide if it is worth the effort it will take in comparison to the time we have to work on other stuff.
PS: If you really want that feature, feel free to join our team and you are free to go! We can also need help on other things to progress faster. We would be happy for any new members! :)
