Some other indies have used this mechanic for quite a while now (kill a character to serve as a bridge, or a platform for some other character) but you are the first one that I see using this mechanic as a social commentary (how the 1% of the population, the richest, use other people as a mean to get richer, by "offering" them the "freedom" to work for them, by "protecting" the country from "evil faceless terrorists", by promoting the human "rights", etc :p)
