To fix the access denied problem, excuse all the .exe files in the zero hour folder from your antivirus. I got this problem from AVG. If your using AVG, go to the resident shield excuse list on the option page and add all the .exe files to the list. Should run fine after that.

This is very good news. What happened to stopping at 1.0?

I think generals is good as a slower game. Speeding it up and adding more damage is sure to to make it much more difficult. I may try this when I get a bit better :)
