I was writing it after another rage quit. Now, when i have picked up all the missing keboard buttons (they was allower the room, you know how it happens), i've cooled down a little. Well, this game may be not as frustrating as VVVVV, but it does definitly got some rooms it would be better without. Yes, it forces you to improve, thats the problem. It is very addictive, and it's really interesting what comes next. Compare it to SOTN. You have to lerarn some tricks too, but you don't have to be absoluteley perfect at them. I mean timed and acrobatic puzzles. Difficulty does not affect them. To pass, game requires you to be cold blooded robot. Whats the point, really? Compare it to Dust or SOTN or any latter Castlevania game. Without some parts game would be better. Don't you agree?
About staying away - i do take my words back, the game is still good.

I can give one friendly advice to any potential customer. Stay the hell away from this game. The graphics are good. The gameplay is addictive. Plot is Ok. All metroidvania stuff is there. It woul have been perfect. But one thing. This game is all about perfecting. It requires from you to learn almost every room, every enemy, every boss until you are perfect. No mistakes are forgiven. Died? Try again. Fell off the edge to the bottom? Please repeat climbing. From start. Got the boss beaten? Expect a shortut back to town? Nope. Run it all in reverse. Haven't noticed an exit from the area? Please repeat all area. Long story short - this is 1 part Symphony of the night, 1 part Zelda, 10 parts of worst moments of Meat Boy multiplied by VVVVV. This game is a pinnacle of frustration. It's well beyond any hadrdcore. It's designed not to entertain you. It's designed to torture you. So, unless you love to be really frustrated - make yourself a favor and stay away.
