TwinVaultGames Blog

Very happy to start showing off our newest game Omega Extinction! Omega Extinction is an asymmetrical multiplayer fps coming soon to Steam!

Play as the Experiment and hunt down the humans experimenting on you using many supernatural abilities, and hiding in plain sight by disguising as a human, gaining their trust, then killing them ALL!.

Survive as the Human team of 4, hunt down and kill the experiment before it can kill you! But be careful, he just might be one of your teammates in disguise!

The first footage of the game will be coming very soon, and I cannot wait to finally start talking about our game!

Endpoint- The Beginning!

TwinVaultGames Blog

And so it begins!

We have been hard at work this year working on Endpoint and we've finally reached a stage where we can share with you the blood, sweat and lots of tears we have put into this game. We've had our ups and downs during development but we are certain that we have reached a standard that you all will enjoy.

First, A little history about Endpoint;

Endpoint is a student-made game at the Queensland University of Technology in the Bachelor of Games and Interactive Entertainment course. Our team consists of 5 team members;

Sam- Very Tired (and only) Programmer- Sam's job for this semester has been a monumental task, as he has programmed the ENTIRE game himself (utlizing plugins for unity such as Photon wherever possible). Due to this, he has battled through the lack of sleep and increasingly difficult task of making sure the entire game works to consistently deliver content for Endpoint.

Maxwell- 3D Modeller, Production Manager, Ginger 1- Max's job for this semester has been not only modelling and animating assets for this game, but also ensuring all of us are kept on track. Max has also spear-headed a lot of the Games and Level design, making sure everything is accurately planned and everyone is working well to ensure no disruptions affect the project.

Mitchell- 3D Modeller, Audio expert, Team Security- Mitch's job for this semester has also been a monumental task. Not only did he model, rig and animate BOTH characters, he also did ALL of the audio work (including original music compositions) by himself, whilst also juggling more subjects at uni, family, and work. It's a wonder how he's still standing at this point, as well as how he never seems to disappoint, delivering consistently great content for the game.

Jack- 3D Modeller, Ginger 2- Jack's job for this semester has been mainly environment modelling. He has been hard at work ensuring that the level not only looks good, but maintains a good degree of challenge for our players.

Yucheng(Gary)- Artist, All around cool guy- Gary's job for this semester has been pretty much anything art related. He never says "I can't" and instead says "I will try", Gary has been a massive part of this team, delivering high quality textures, amazing concepts and brilliant GUI. Without Gary this team would have suffered immensely.

With this team of unlikely heroes, we have all banded together to create what you see here today. Each team member has contributed something grand to this game, and if we didn't have just one of them, we would not be where we are today.

Secondly, What to expect next?

Endpoint is still in development but the deadline draws ever closer with each day, so the team is still working hard to ensure that we deliver something fun and playable to the community that we can all be proud of.

We plan to have trailers up very soon, and a playable demo up shortly after. There is not much left content wise to do, but we are still ensuring that our current content is up to a high standard, and that most of all the game is enjoyable to play.

If this interests you, stay tuned and we hope that you enjoy Endpoint.
